Steven J. Smith, M.D., FACS
Plastic Surgeon
Steven J. Smith, M.D.,FACS, a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, established his plastic surgery practice in Knoxvile in 1993. Prior to that time, Dr. Smith was an Assistant Profesor in Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Smith’s training includes residencies in surgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), and plastic surgery. He also completed a fellowship in craniofacial plastic surgery. He also completed a fellowship in craniofacial plastic surgery. Dr. Smith is certified by th American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Smith is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Smith has shared his expertise in plastic surgery by participating in volunteer medical trips to China and Chile. He continues to be active in education programs both nationally and internationally. Through training, experience and continual interaction with plastic surgery colleagues and other healthcare professionals, Dr. Smith is able to provide each patient with the most current approach to plastic surgery. |
